Ashampoo Burning Studio is one of the most complete recording and backup suites that we can find for Windows. This program will allow us to copy, or create, our own CD, DVD and Blu-Ray discs through a very simple and complete wizard. In addition, it will also allow us to transfer our CDs and DVDs to the computer, converting them to disk image format.
Like many programs, every year, Ashampoo launches a new version of its Burning Studio with which to improve the functions of the current program and add new features to continue conquering users who are still betting on optical discs. And, as part of this ongoing evolution, today we meet the new Ashampoo Burning Studio 22.
What’s new in Ashampoo Burning Studio 22
This new version of the recorder has focused on two things. On the one hand, we find a series of improvements in all kinds of program functions, such as:
- Improved detection of blank discs.
- Better disc burning options.
- Better support for BDXL discs.
- Improved disk erase function.
- Improved carousel navigation, editor, and user interface.
- Improved native compatibility with MPEG-4, H.264 and AAC.
- Faster video encoding.
- Improved the function of ripping music from audio CDs.
- Better audio profiles.
And, on the other hand, it also brings a series of news and new functions. The most interesting of them all is the H.265 codec support, which gives us an amazing video quality. And, in addition, it is now also possible to extract music from audio CDs with their covers and metadata automatically.
In addition to these two changes, we must also highlight other minor news, such as:
- Shortcuts to functions from the quick launch.
- New systems for recording discs, creating backups and conversions.
- New user interface.
- 200 car radios compatible when burning discs.
- New templates for Blu-Ray and video discs.
